Dividend Farming is DIY dividend investing.  It’s based on the tenets of Value Investing fathered by Ben Graham and made famous by Warren Buffett and Charlie Munger.  Researching dividend paying firms using conservative fundamental analysis rather than technical analysis, momentum investing, or day trading techniques is at the core of Dividend Farming.

Value investing is intelligent.

The Dividend Farmer normally concentrates on high quality companies with long histories of growing dividend payments.  I believe this strategy is superior to others over the long run.  Dividend investing offers a great combination of return, margin of safety, and efficiency relative to alternatives.

Pay less for more.

As a technology product manager in corporate America, I help companies grow their products’ revenue and profitability.  The job is operationally and financially comprehensive providing a stem-to-stern view of company business practices.  Experience gained in privately held and publicly traded firms, including those in Fortune 500 and 1000 environments, help inform my investing decisions.

I’m a husband, father of two, occasional pilot, educator, and avid Husker football fan who believes in learning as much as possible about the dividend investing field and sharing what I’ve learned.  These perspectives influence my Dividend Farming efforts as I pursue conservative, long-term investment decisions based on data and facts; just as Ben Graham advised.
